Hotdoggers Help!

Hot Dog on a Stick® believes in making a difference in the community. We proudly support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in an effort to stomp out cancer. Every year, our stores participate in LLS’ pin-up program in which our customers and Hotdoggers make generous contributions in turn for their name on LLS balloon pin-ups. mario with kylieIn late summer through early fall, those pin-ups take over our store walls and we LOVE it.

To celebrate our 70th anniversary in 2016, Hot Dog on a Stick hosted a celebrity lemonade Stomp-A-Thon for LSS at our original Muscle Beach location in Santa Monica. Hotdoggers, celebs and our wonderful customers helped us stomped lemonade for 7 consecutive hours.

At the event, Mario Lopez learned to stomp lemonade with LLS’ honored patient heroes including three year old Kylie, who was diagnosed with Leukemia just two days before her second birthday.

Leukemia is the most common form of childhood cancer, but thanks to the cutting-edge research funded by LLS, there continues to be hope. Kylie was put into a clinical trial for her particular type of Leukemia and she has fought cancer with a smile. Kylie Close upShe has been in remission since November 2015, but will continue maintenance chemo therapy treatment over the next several years.

Kylie’s story inspires us every day and to help patients like her, Hot Dog on a Stick is on a mission to raise $70,000 for LLS. Please consider supporting our cause by making a lifesaving donation today.
